Increase the curb appeal of your home. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. The exterior will be the first thing buyers see and can drive them or reel them.

A small investment in sprucing up the curb appeal may be getting more potential buyers through the door and get better deals.

As a final note, delete the items such as plastic flowers, sports teams or seasonal flags, garden gnomes, or the like. Browse this site if you want to sell your house quickly for cash.

Clean:  Sounds crazy, but I've seen a lot of homes on the market that just very dirty. Prospective buyers want a fresh clean house to call their home.

If your home is empty, perhaps because you may already be outside the city considers hiring a cleaning company to come in from time to time. The cost will be minimal, but it will help the home sell much faster.

Neutralize your home:  This is very important, but often overlooked. Bottlecap collection displayed throughout the living space may be priceless pieces of art for you, but for some buyers, they will have a hard time imagining themselves in a room full of your trash.

Avoid the untidy appearance: If it is clear that it is too small for you and is evidenced by the overflowing cabinets and storage boxes stacked to the ceiling in the basement, the buyer will assume the house is too small.

If this is the case I would suggest renting a storage unit and clean the cabinets slightly, as well as, other areas are also crowded. If the storage unit is the price limit, try talking to a close friend or family member about "borrowing" their basement to store some items.
